If I'm being completely honest, I don’t know if I've learned anything too new in this course and that’s probably simply because it’s English. The major of this course consisted of research and writing, which is something I had plenty of practice of in high school. Every one of our projects revolved around composing an essay and that within its self isn’t really anything new. The types of essay that we had to write are what made them stand out a bit. For example, you generally don’t expect to evaluate scientific research papers in English.
Another thing that was a little different that we did this year was how we went about conducting academic research. Although I was taught about academic research junior year, I had to apply it more directly in situation like project 3 where we had to break down a natural sciences research paper. Usually I’m not required to go that far in depth.

I think at this point, I'm definitely more confident about writing proper introductions, thesis statements, and composing an argumentative essay. I’m also a lot better at navigating this website compared to when we first began. Although I'm still not 100% set when it comes to incorporating multimodal compositions, I think I’ve figured out how to better layout my blogs and includes different aspects in ways that make them more aesthetically appealing.
Because I’m a science major and will be within this field for a good while, I know that I will have to write plenty of research papers and evaluate others. I will definitely take my experiences regarding working with scientific writing whether that be a natural or social science with me as I progress further into my education. I also feel like this whole creating my own website thing might come in handy in the future.

The only thing I really find “challenging” is enjoying English in general. I’m more of a math and sciences person, and English bores me to death, so it's been a challenge reminding myself that starting my paper is more important than watching that new Netflix series ( https://tvline.com/2019/04/13/sabrina-season-2-explained-cast-interview-biggest-moments/ ) haha. But again, that’s just a personal thing.
